FORMER Hereford United boss Peter Beadle has indicated he would be interested in being in charge of the newly-formed Hereford Football Club.

Beadle was instrumental in keeping United in the Conference last season, overseeing a dramatic final day win at Aldershot which looked like keeping the Bulls in the division until they were thrown out weeks later amid mounting unpaid bills.

The club was wound-up in December but phoenix club Hereford FC was this week given permission to play at Edgar Street for the next five seasons, with Beadle suggesting he wouldn't mind taking over the reins.

"I've had a lot of people message me via Twitter saying that they hope I get the job," he said.

"There's been a lot of speculation about what league they might end up in, but that's irrelevant.

"They just need to pick the right manager for the job. My contacts base is excellent. Of course I'd be interested."
