THREE vehicles, including a marked police car, were involved in a collision in Kidderminster on Monday afternoon.

The crash took place at about 5.55pm on January 26 at the junction of Birmingham Road and Chester Road North, also known as the Landoak Traffic Lights.

A Citreon C3, driven by a 73-year-old man and a blue Volkswagen Beetle, driven by a 21-year-old woman, both from Kidderminster, were also involved in the collision.

All three vehicles suffered significant damage, while the driver of the Beetle and the police officer in the marked police car were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for precautionary checks, but only sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the Citreon was not injured.

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses and is asking anyone who has information regarding the collision to contact PS Dave Hind by calling 101 on extension 66660, quoting incident number 549 of 26th January.
