PEOPLE can get a closer look at archaeological finds uncovered in Worcestershire at an event next month.

The Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology service will be holding its annual Day School showcase of the most recent finds

Victoria Bryant, Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology service manager, said: "Our Day School is always very popular as so many Worcestershire people are interested in the heritage of their county and the latest discoveries.

"For us it’s a chance to talk to people and get a feel for what they think is important."

The event has taken place each year for at least the last 25 years and is organised by Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service, with financial support from Worcestershire Archaeological Society.

The topics covered have a strong local and regional focus.

The event is on Saturday, November 15 between 9.45am and 5pm at the University of Worcester's St John's campus.

Places are limited and need to be booked in advance.

There is a charge of £20 per person.
