MERRY Hill has launched its Great Taste campaign—a month-long celebration of all things food.

Shoppers can take advantage of a range of offers at the Brierley Hill shopping centre and activities that all the family will enjoy.

The Great Taste food festival will take place on September 13 and 14, with local food and drink producers stacking their stalls high at an artisan food market.

From home baked goods to jams, preserves and even a village deli, there will be something to satisfy even the pickiest of palettes.

Visitors will also be able to feast on a host of appetising entertainment during the festival, with plate spinning acrobatics, foodie frolics from comedy group The Waiters and live music from chef trio The Courgettes.

Little Foodies workshops will be taking place over the weekend to keep kids occupied, while a free face painting and balloon modelling zone will be available from 11am-4pm on both days.

Even the centre's popular Mummy Mornings meetings on Tuesdays will be food-themed throughout the whole of September, with competitions and activities in store for kids and grown-ups alike.

Voucher booklets will be on offer throughout the month full of offers and promotions that can be redeemed at the centre's restaurants and eateries.

Kelly Reed, senior marketing manager at Merry Hill, said: “The Great Taste festival will be the perfect chance to get a taste for our local talent and sample the best of what the region has to offer. With plenty of other activities going on, it’s sure to be a brilliant family day out."
