THE Shipston Proms is continuing, with forthcoming highlights including an outdoor concert, orchestral performance and a show featuring songs from musicals.
The remaining highlights from the town’s annual two-week music festival include a concert by The Orchestra of the Swan at the Townsend Hall, Sheep Street at 7.30pm on Thursday, July 2.
Professional tenor, Andrew Clarke, will sing songs from West Side Story, Carmen and Porgy and Bess during a performance entitled Songs From the Shows to be staged in the Townsend Hall at 7.30pm on Friday, July 3.
A free outdoor concert, entitled Dancing in the Street, will be staged in High Street from 7.30pm until 11.45pm on Saturday, July 4.
It will feature a performance from the winners of a fame contest, held earlier in the festival, as well as one from Legend, a Bob Marley and the Wailers tribute band.
