AN electrical fault caused a blaze that inflicted damage of £1 million at the Fire Service College in Moreton, an investigation has found.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service has ruled out arson after investigating the fire that began in a 40-year-old workshop, on the London Road campus, on Saturday, May 16.
Nobody was injured in the fire that did not affect any of the courses at the college, which trains firefighters from around the world.
Ten firefighting appliances, worth £120,000 each, were severely damaged, as was a training support vehicle.
