A COTSWOLD accountancy firm has come second in a prestigious national competition.
Tayabali-Tomlin, from Moreton-in-Marsh, was named as runner-up in the UK Accounting Firm of the Year 2008/09 at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham in October.
It is a unique award which is judged by fellow accountants and the Cotswold company received the honour in front of almost 350 kinsman from across the country.
Tayabali-Tomlin director, Aynsley Damery, said: “Although we didn’t win, this is a wonderful honour for us.
“We have always believed that we are great at what we do - providing our clients with additional and relevant value-added services, helping them achieve increased profitability and personal wealth whilst generating phenomenal tax savings.
“It’s all the more flattering to know our peers believe so too.”
The award is sponsored by accountancy specialists Added Value Solutions Limited (AVN).
AVN chairman Steve Pipe added: “Tayabali-Tomlin are blazing a trail for other accountants to follow.
“Even in the face of the recession their proactive approach is helping their clients to grow, to create jobs and to become more successful.
