Street collectors needed for cancer charity
7:00am Friday 30th December 2011 in News
A CANCER charity is calling on Cotswold residents to help with street collections next year.
Marie Curie Cancer Care, which provides free nursing to terminally ill patients, needs help with street collections in February and March, 2012.
Street collections will be taking place to raise money for the Great Daffodil Appeal 2012 throughout the district including Bourton, Moreton, Winchcombe and Chipping Campden.
The appeal is the charity’s biggest fundraising campaign which takes place each March and last year £5.7 million was raised.
