A CARE home worker is limbering up for the Great North Run to raise money for a Broadway girl who cannot walk unaided.

Karen Lacey, receptionist at Bupa’s Brompton House in Broadway, will be running just over 13 miles for Team Bupa on Sunday to raise funds for threeyear- old Molly Grove who suffers with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy. The money will help pay for an operation in America that will allow Molly to walk for the first time unaided.

Last week the Journal reported how her parents had smashed their target of £55,000 thanks to kindhearted efforts of friends and neighbours. Molly is due to have her operation on October 16.
