EVESHAM Town Council gave its stamp of approval to plans to replace the Abbey Bridge on Monday.
Wychavon will discuss the plans today with the application ultimately being decided by the county council in October.
Coun Richard Jones said: “With the long-running saga with the bridge, we know this is going to happen. We do need the bridge so I propose approval.”
