A MAN died after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a collision at Lower Quinton this morning.

The collision occurred shortly before 9am on the B4632 near to Long Marston airfield and involved a green Land Rover 4x4 vehicle which left the road and overturned.

The driver, a man believed to be in his thirties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No details about him will be released until the formal identification process has been completed and all close relatives have been informed.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven before the collision occurred.

They would particularly like to hear from any drivers who were travelling behind the Land Rover before the collision.
