STOW Primary School’s pupils have been thanked for supporting the town’s annual Poppy Appeal for the past nine years.
Representatives of Stow’s Royal British Legion, which organises the appeal to raise funds for past and present armed forces personnel and their dependents, paid a surprise visit to the St Edward’s Drive school to present a plaque to the children.
The youngsters sang at the Armistice Day service that the Legion held in Stow’s Market Square on November 11.
