Shipston High School aims high with fashion show

PUPILS are preparing to take off down the catwalk in a fashion show to be staged at Shipston High School at 6.30pm tonight.

Entitled Tour Around the World, the show will be presented by pupils on the Darlingscote Road school’s first textiles course.

Some of the 15-year-old pupils will dress up as an airline crew - comprising a pilot, co-pilot and air hostesses - who will introduce the audience to each country they ‘land’ in.

Other textile students will model clothes associated with the countries.

Having first held a fashion show last year, in aid of its new sewing group, the school is now staging the event annually.

This year’s show, also featuring some younger pupils, will raise money to equip the school’s new textile room.
