A TRADITIONAL Punch and Judy show will be amongst a host of events at the annual Westcote fete.
Professor John Harvey will be presenting two Punch & Judy shows in his colourful puppet theatre on Saturday, August 19 at 2pm.
There will also be live folk music, a fun dog show and many traditional stalls, sideshows and attractions as well as delicious homemade teas and a barbecue.
Professor John Harvey has been presenting traditional Punch and Judy shows for over 35 years.
Using wonderful hand-carved and hand-painted puppets, his shows include all the main traditional characters including the crocodile, Judy, Joey the Clown, the Policeman and Mr Punch himself, as well as some more obscure characters such as The Doctor and Toby the Dog.
Westcote prides itself on keeping the homegrown village fete tradition alive and does not have commercial stalls and attractions.
