A CHESS champion won a trophy as part of a four stage competition.
Dylan Glockling, 11 competed with 25 other children from Dormer House School all aged between eight and 11, winning all seven of his games.
The school children were competing as part of The UK Chess Challenge.
Dylan won the trophy on the day and now goes forward to the final for Gloucestershire, which is being held in Cheltenham in May.
