SCHOOLCHILDREN will deliver lots of joy this Christmas after taking part in Operation Christmas Child.
Over 100 boxes filled to the brim with goodies for less advantaged children have been created by Blockley Church of England Primary School, Blockley Church and Blockley Hub.
The boxes, containing everything from toys to toothbrushes, note books and pens, colouring books and sweets, will be shipped across the world to children who would otherwise go without a gift at Christmas.
The children at the school were delighted to be helping children who are less fortunate than they are, and the generosity of parents, church goers and people from the village was celebrated in an assembly at school and in church on Sunday.
