A STOW ON THE WOLD motorist has been banned from driving after being found with excess alcohol on his breath.
Michael Bowen, 25, of King Georges Field, Stow-on-the-Wold admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates.
He was stopped in his Ford Escort on September 27 in King Georges Field, the court was told.
He was found to have 43 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
Bowen also admitted driving without insurance and without a licence.
Magistrates banned him from driving for one year, fined him £230 and ordered him to pay £85 prosecution costs.
