AN EXHIBITION of christening gowns was enjoyed by visitors to the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Blockley.
The event, mounted by Blockley WI, celebrated the patronal festival of the church and raised funds for the restoration of the church tower.
Christening gowns - some modern, and other very old - were lent by village societies and members of the community for the display.
Not only were christening gowns on display, but there were also childhood treasures from past generations including toys, dolls and handmade clothes.
On Saturday, June 25, the Benefice Choir, the Blockley Ladies Choir, Gloriana and The Blockley Blokes Choir (BBC) entertained the audience which filled the church.
