A FREE health and wellbeing fair is being hosted at North Cotswold Hospital, in Moreton, to help promote the hospital as a health and wellbeing hub.

The family event is being hosted by Gloucestershire Care Services this Saturday, May 21, and takes place between 12pm and 4pm.

People will be able to meet and find out more about the healthy initiatives available where they live. In addition the event will include local schools, sports and active lifestyle activities.

A range of free activities for people of all ages to enjoy have been organised to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere. They include a raffle and prizes from local attractions and organisations, interactive information stalls from a number of health organisations, a rolling programme of interactive talks and workshops, a children's under-11s fancy dress competition, belly dancing and piloxing performances, chance to try out a smoothie bike, refreshments and live music from Shipston Silver Band.

There is strictly no parking on the hospital site - with the exception of hospital use only. However, there will be a designated drop-off and collection point at the hospital. A free shuttle bus has been organised to run every 30 minutes between Moreton Station and Tesco, in Stow, during the event.
