A COTWOLDS Bed and Breakfast has been named the second-best in the world through global travel review site, TripAdvisor.
The awards are based on guest feedback gathered throughout the year and honor the most outstanding properties in all accommodation categories.
Thrilled that their establishment has been named second best globally is David Hollingworth, partner in Maxwell’s Piece Bed and Breakfast at Lower Lemington, near Moreton. He said: “We are delighted to be recognised by TripAdvisor as a 2016 Travellers’ Choice Award winner. Thank you to all of our guests for choosing us and writing such wonderful reviews.”
Originally a pair of cottages, the owners of Maxwell's Piece recently connected the two and completely renovated them. The adults only B&B offers just three double rooms, each with luxury en-suite bathrooms.
The TripAdvisor awards, now in their 14th year, honour the world’s most outstanding properties in a wide range of categories. Award winners were determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers worldwide.
“These awards are based on guest feedback gathered throughout the year, so what sets the winners apart is not just a high standard of service and accommodation, but the fact that they deliver this day in and day out,” said TripAdvisor spokesman James Kay.
