A YOUNG florist has proved her creative talent by being named a finalist in Gloucestershire's 2015 Grow Showcase Awards.
The awards celebrate the achievements of young people in Gloucestershire, aged between 14 and 24 years old, who have kick-started their careers through work placements, internships and apprenticeships. It also recognises the businesses, schools and individuals who have helped them
Twenty-year-old Hannah Belcher, is a full-time florist at Fosseway Garden Centre and has worked there for five years.
Last year she qualified as a florist after taking a two-year level two floristry course at college where she gained distinctions in wedding arrangements and funeral arrangements.
Employer Gill Godwin, of Fosseway Garden Centre said she was thrilled Hannah had been picked as a finalist.
"We are all so excited for Hannah, who is an exceptionally creative and committed young person. She truly deserves this recognition."
The awards ceremony will take place at Cheltenham Race Course on October 20.
