A HIKE over ten kilometres of the Cotswolds has raised £3,000 for a charity that supports struggling Cotswolds families with young children.
Home-Start helps those with problems of social isolation, disability, bereavement, financial difficulties or physical or mental illness of a parent or child.
The popular walk attracted more than 100 walkers, many with their dogs and had been organised by Kate Hicks-Beach, Home-Start trustee.
It was opened by Jon Gardiner and Michelle Bond, landlords of the Keepers Arms, Quenington who recently won Channel 4’s Four in a Bed programme.
