THE winner of Channel 4's Four in a Bed programme, John Gardiner, will be leading off this year's 10k walk to raise money for Home-Start Cotswolds.
The charity supports families throughout the Cotswolds, with young children, who may struggle with many problems including social isolation, disability, bereavement, financial difficulties or the physical or mental illness of a parent or child.
The walk follows last year's Hike success and takes place on Wednesday May 6 at 9.30am.
Mr Gardiner, of The Keepers, Quenington, will be striding out on the cross-country circular route through the Coln Valley, starting and finishing at Cripps Barn, near Bibury.
Entry fee for the walk is £15 and includes refreshments and a map. Lunch is also available and should be booked in advance.
