CHINESE whispers murmured around the 'Nest' at Moreton's Dormer House School this half term as youngsters celebrated the Chinese New Year.
Rooms were festooned with Chinese lanterns, masks and a colourful and creative cardboard dragon, while sweet and sour chicken was put on the menu.
Children have been learning about the Chinese New Year through art, craft, food and play. They learned that 2015 is the year of the goat, with anybody born this year able to count their lucky colours as brown, red and purple, their lucky flowers as primroses and carnations, while their best months are likely to be August and November. Their characters are supposedly kind and peaceful.
