A RENEWED appeal is being made by West Mercia Police following a spate of burglaries in the Badsey and Broadway areas.

Nine burglaries have been reported recently, with most occurring between Friday February 13 and Wednesday February 18.

Offenders forced entry to most of the properties which were on Smallbrook Road, Morris Road, Mills Close, Salubrious, all in Broadway, and Greenhill, Binyon Close, Horsebridge Avenue, all in Badsey and Evesham, and Beckford in Tewksbury.

Jewellery, cash, a wallet, an electronic notepad and perfume are some of the belongings which were stolen in the burglaries.

Two burglaries took place in Morris Road - one of which was an attempted burglary at around 6pm on Monday February 16.

Theives attempted to force entry to the property but were disturbed by a neighbour. The offenders were two males, in their teens, with slim builds, both wearing grey hooded tops with the hoods up covering their faces. They made off in the direction of the Lygon Arms and the High Street.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw two males of this description in the area at the time.

In relation to the burglaries in Badsey, the offenders are thought to have parked their vehicle in Pack Close. Police ask that anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to make contact.

Police are also eager to hear from any residents who use CCTV cameras outside their properties in any of the affected areas. Their footage may hold vital information to help police with their inquiries.
