TWO gold medals are now in the firm grasp of a North Cotswold primary school's gym team after triumphing in a recent contest.
The young gymnasts from Temple Guiting Primary School won gold as overall winners in the North Cotswolds key step gym competition whileJessica Ardron won individual gold for the best gymnast overall.
The competition took place at the Cotswold School, in Bourton, as part of a national gym competition, aimed at girls and boys aged six to eight years.
Three teams competed in the competition and each child had to perform a set key steps gymnastics routine by themselves, followed by two vaults and squats.
Judges casting a close eye over the performances were from the Cotswolds Gymnastics Club at Deer Park School, in Cirencester.
The Temple Guiting team includes six girls and their win sees them heading to the county competition in Gloucester.
