SOME legends of the game are expected to put on their cricket whites for a very special match in the Cotswolds.
Slaughters United Cricket Club, based in Lower Slaughter, near Bourton, is hosting a PCA Masters cricket team for a T20 match during its charity day on Sunday, August 31.
The team is a representative team of former England cricketers playing high class competitive cricket to raise funds for charity.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets for a five-course marquee lunch with the players prior to the match, which will include a question and answer session, auction, autograph signing and opportunities for photographs.
And for those who just want to see the players in action, they will take on a Slaughter XI in a twenty over match at 4pm, for which spectator tickets are being sold.
The charity day itself will feature a wide range of entertainment, including live music, from noon onwards, with gates opening at 11am.
