MUSIC fans can look forward to the second Blues At Broom Festival which has a distinctly New Orleans Mardi Gras feel this year.
This year's event is on Saturday, August 30 in a field near Compton Wynyates, near Shipston, and promises to be a bit different, extremely relaxed and family friendly.
Headlining the festival is Chris Hall's Louisiana Swamp Band while other acts on the bill include Rosco Levee and The Southern Slide, Stomp & Holler, The Swamp Band, Hot Wired, and Aaron Keylock with music starting at 2pm
The festival is a joint collaboration between Oliver Carpenter, of the Upton Blues Festival / Blues At The Fold, and Tim Porter, of Porterhouse Blues, and Banbury and Gloucester Rhythm & Blues festivals.
Mr Porter, who also chaired the recent Shipston Proms Music Festival, said: 'I'm delighted to part of this new venture. I really like the idea of having a changing theme too".
