ORGANISERS are gearing up for this year's Winchcombe Country Show which is taking place on August Bank holiday Monday.
The event on August 25 will start at 11.30am with a procession from the town centre to the Winchcombe senior school field where there will be a whole host of entertainment for the official opening at noon.
Attractions will include Happenstance Border Morris Dancers, the Winchcombe fire engine, vintage tractors, dog agility and stalls.
There will be a flower show, with sections for local traditional skills including preserves, wine-making, cookery, art and photography.
People can also look forward to entertainment from the Savage Skills team, 'It's a knockout' games, Punch and Judy show, face painting and a bouncy castle along with demonstrations of wood carving and stonework.
Music is provided by Winchcombe Concert Brass Band and there will be a large array of refreshments.
