FOUR men have appeared in court following a pub burglary in Bidford-on-Avon.
The men from the Liverpool area, who were arrested shortly after the burglary was reported which happened last Friday, appeared at Leamington Spa Magistrates Court on Monday.
James Bigley, aged 23, of Windfield Close, Liverpool, was charged with two counts of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
Joseph McCarthy, 19, of Westhead Walk, Liverpool, was charged with two counts of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking by allowing themselves to travel in a vehicle after the vehicle was unlawfully taken.
Ellis Boyd, 22, of Carlile Way, Liverpool, was charged with two counts of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking by allowing themselves to travel in a vehicle after the vehicle was unlawfully taken.
Richard Spring, 23, of Colmoor Close, Liverpool was charged with two counts of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking by allowing themselves to travel in a vehicle after the vehicle was unlawfully taken.
Bigley and Ellis were remanded in custody while McCarthy and Spring were released on bail and placed under curfew from 7pm to 7pm.
All four are due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on September 29 for trial.
