THESE dogs will set tongues wagging as they compete to win a prize at a village fete this weekend.

Little Compton's summer fete, near Moreton, is on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm and is being opened by actress Angela Thorne, who starred in BBC sitcom 'To The Manor Born' with Penelope Keith.

New this year will be a Children’s Fancy Dress Competition with Kitebrook House School and the joint Compton school invited to take part.

Following its success last year, the Fun Dog Show is making a welcome return and there will be the usual games testing the skills of both adults and children.

There will also be stalls, a raffle and plants supplied by Reed Business School along with afternoon teas with freshly baked Welsh Cakes.

All proceeds will go to St Denys’ Church, Little Compton, the village hall and the W.I.
