ROLLER hockey juniors in Chipping Norton were given a boost after they were each awarded £50 from the town's bowls club.
Jake Williams, aged 12, Devon Shadbolt, 11, and Brett Massey, 11, who all won Achievement awards the West Oxfordshire Sports Awards 2014, were presented with the cheques following an outdoor Bowls competition.
The youngsters will be representing Great Britain at the World Championships in Las Vegas from July 12 to 20 and the money is a contribution towards their expenses.
Roberta Jarvie, Indoor Chairman of the Chipping Norton Bowls Club who presented the cheques, said: " We are very pleased to present you with these cheques towards your costs and wish you very success in the world Championships in July .
"Have a great time and come home with the trophy ".
