TWO new interactive fairytale scenes have opened at a farm park for disabled children in Chipping Norton.

The new attractions have been added at Fairytale Farm, which is on the A44 just outside Chippy, and are part of the Fairytale Street area.

Visitors can enjoy a Sleeping Beauty set, showing the beautiful princess asleep in her palace which children can light up and listen to an extract from the famous fairytale and the Hansel and Gretel scene, featuring the witch and her oven.

Owner Nick Laister said: "We are very excited to open our new fairytale sets, which have taken over a year of design and construction.

"Created by theatre designer Rhyannon Richardson, our Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks sets proved popular when we opened last year.

"These two sets have been updated and improved for 2014 and now we have added two more, completing our Fairytale Street. The sets were built by a team of craftspeople in London, and we think they are stunning. They are now open every day."

Mr Laister added the new fairytale sets are not the only new attraction at Fairytale Farm this year.

He said the Rubber Duck Racing attraction which opened at Easter is already proving their most popular feature.

Fairytale Farm is open daily until November 2 from 10am to 5pm.
