Mother's Day celebrated at nursery

YOUNGTERS at a nursery near Shipston have had a busy week making cards and gifts for their mums to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Children at at Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery in Upper Tysoe have been making and decorating sugar-dough tealight holders to present to their mums tomorrow as well as carefully crafting cards.

Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery Manager Rachel Giorgio said: “The children have had a fun time making sugar-dough tealight holders and decorating them with paint, glitter and jewels.

“We hope the mums will like them, especially the mums that are celebrating their very first Mother’s Day.”
