AN investigation has been launched by the Health and Safe Executive after a man suffered serious leg injuries at a Blockley brickmakers.
Police were called at 3.35pm on February 27 to Northcot Brick, in Station Road, after receiving reports a man had become trapped in machinery.
The man, who is in his 40s and lives in the area, was taken to Wallsgrave Hospital, Coventry, by Midlands Air Ambulance after a two-hour rescue operation.
The Health and Safety Executive said it had served a prohibition notice on Northcot Brick to suspend use of the machinery in the area where the incident happened while it carried out the investigation.
