A NEW dental practice could be heading for Stow if plans get the go ahead.

An application has been submitted to Cotswold District Council for the change of use for 12 Talbot Court, into a dental practice and create seven jobs.

The shop is the former Go-Stow tourist information centre, which closed just over a year ago.

Applicant Dr Ross Cutts, who has a practice in Castle Street, Cirencester, is hoping to open a “state of the art” facility to cater for an increase in patients.

The practice proposes to open from 8.30am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 1pm on Saturday.

In the design and access statement it says: ‘’The property has been vacant for 12 months and despite local and national marketing and several interested parties, the unit remains unoccupied.

"The interested parties included a Fudge shop and a Tee Shirt business. However, these

prospects failed to materialise.

"The site is within the centre of Stow, a dental practice will enhance the existing facilities on offer within the locality."
