THERE will be no changes to waste collections in the Cotswolds over the Easter weekend.
Cotswold District Council has confirmed its waste service company, Ubico Ltd, will be collecting waste and recycling from households on Good Friday, April 18, and Easter Monday, April 21.
They will also be collecting from households on the bank holidays which fall on Monday, May 5 and Monday, May 26.
Scott Williams, environmental services spokesman, said: “We thought it would be useful to confirm that there would be no disruption to our normal schedules during Easter or the two bank holidays in May. “We would also appreciate it if residents could take maximum advantage of the recycling collection services we offer when disposing of their used Easter egg packaging – it all helps to boost our totals.”
