A MAN was taken to hospital after becoming trapped under a collapsed wall at a property near Moreton.
Firefighters were called just before 11.30am today to Main Road, Todenham, and found the 47-year-old man trapped under a section of wall from the waist down, with a wall in a dangerous position.
Crews from Moreton, Stow, Shipston, the Special Incident Support Unit and a support pump from Gloucester North along with the Urban Search and Rescue unit from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service attended.
Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance also attended along with the Midlands Air Ambulance.
The man had to be very slowly and carefully extricated from the rubble by several local fire and rescue services.
Once he had been freed, the patient was assessed before he was flown to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire for further treatment.
He was stable when he arrived at the hospital.
