3:40pm Monday 23rd September 2013 in News
FOUR military medals were taken during a daytime burglary in a village near Evesham.
The medals which hold sentimental value for the owner were stolen between 1pm and 2.15pm on Wednesday, September 18, from a house in Aldington.
One of the four medals may be easier to track down as it as very rare blue United Nations Korean Medal, which was awarded in 1953.
Also among the stolen items is a Korean War Service Medal, with the other two taken in the burglary being general service medals for serving in World War Two, which were awarded in 1947.
Anyone with information should contact the police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 297-S-180913.
