MMR vaccine poster unveiled
7:00am Saturday 17th August 2013 in News
A POSTER aimed at encouraging people to be vaccinated against MMR has been created by Gloucestershire County Council.
The image comes after the council launched its MMR catch-up drive in May to back up the campaign and figures from July, released by Public Health England, showed 65 confirmed cases of measles between January and May 2013 in Gloucestershire, compared to three for the same period in 2012.
The new poster demonstrates the symptoms of MMR, how it can affect you, how to get vaccinated and who should be vaccinated.
The council is particularly keen for children aged between 10 and 16 who are unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated to be immunised.
