POLICE are appealing after three homes were burgled in Winchcombe.

The incidents took place between 12.30am and 5.30am this morning.

Two houses in Abbots Leys Road and one in Binyon Road were broken into.

It is thought thieves entered the homes through insecure doors before stealing a number of items.

Items stolen from the homes include a Sony digital video camera, a purple Sony laptop, a handbag, a Canon digital camera, a Nikon digital camera and some kitchen scales.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 52 of April 24, if they saw or heard anything suspicious in the area last night into the early hours of today.

Police are also reminding residents in the area to make sure they lock doors and windows before heading out of the house or going to bed.
