Cotswold MP pops into shop

VISIT: From left, Bob Fryer of Bob Fryer Photography, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP, Debbie McGreevy of aukward ipad cases and Christina Thornton of Provenance Reuseful at the pop-up shop in Moreton.
THE latest tenants to take up residence in Moreton’s pop-up shop were paid a visit by a special guest.
Cotswold MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown visited PopUp Moreton, in Old Market Way, last Thursday to learn more about the innovative concept and welcome the shop’s third set of tenants.
Bob Fryer, Debbie McGreevy and Christina Thornton will be in the shop until next week under their Best of British theme.
Mr Clifton-Brown said he enjoyed his visit to the shop, the first of its kind to open outside of London in the national enterprise campaign StartUp Britain.
“I hope this opportunity will give their businesses a significant boost and I will be introducing Debby McGreevy to officials in the House of Commons who run the shop to see if they would be prepared to sell her innovative cases,” he said.
“My particular congratulations go to Sue Heady and Adam Wood whose dynamism brought the pop-up concept to Moreton.”
There are two rotations left in the PopUp Moreton calendar before it closes on Thursday, March 28. Shoppers can look forward to the next three arts and crafts businesses which will be moving in next week.
