Man arrested on suspicion of arson after Moreton shed fire

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a shed was set alight in Moreton.

Police in the Cotswolds are appealing for information about the blaze which happened between 8.15pm and 9pm on February 19 at an allotment on Evenlode Road.

Officers were called to the allotment by the fire service after one of the sheds was found alight. Two sheds and its contents were damaged.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 403 of February 19.
