WORCESTERSHIRE Regulatory Services is warning people to be on their guard following reports of unsolicited telephone calls to residents of Bretforton.
A caller from a business offering cut-price home alarms told people an appointment has been booked for a representative to visit.
WRS has advised people not to invite salespeople into their homes, not to sign any paperwork produced during a cold call and to make it clear they are not interested.
