A SPREAD of tea and cakes the Mad Hatter would have approved of raised more than £100 for a blind boy.

Staff at Panache and Chi Salon, High Street, Evesham, held an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party in aid of charity Wish Em Well. Dressed as Alice, the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter, staff served customers treats in exchange for a donation. The £108 raised went to the charity which is hoping to buy a Braille Notetaker for a 10-year-old called Jack.

Salon receptionist Gemma Nardone, pictured right with manager Vicki Baker, left, and hair apprentice KIm Wood, thanked everyone who came along.
