BOOKSTART Bear Clubs for babies, toddlers and pre-school children are starting up at libraries across the Cotswolds.
Children from birth to preschool can join in with the fun at Winchcombe Library, which is already up and running, and explore stories, books and rhymes while collecting stamps for each visit.
Clubs will also be starting up soon at libraries in Bourton-onthe- Water, Chipping Campden, Moreton and Stow.
Councillor Mark Hawthorne, leader of Gloucestershire County Council, said: “Libraries in the county continue to use new technology to increase the ways they link with local people.
“I hope families with preschool children sign up to this service through their local library to help children learn to love books and reading from a young age.”
Residents can also join the Bookstart Bear Club online.
