A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash near Stow.
The incident took place on the A424 heading towards Burford at about 4.30pm yesterday and involved a van and two lorries.
Two crews and a rapid response vehicle attended from Great Western Ambulance and treated a man in his 30s at the scene for minor injuries.
Three of the men were released by Gloucestershire Police, before two fire crews from Stow arrived and released a fourth person, a 35-year-old man from Poole who was driving a White Renault Kangoo van.
He had to be cut free from his vehicle and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, with serious lower leg fractures. The road was closed for eight hours while clear-up work took place.
