MAY I point out an article sent to me from the UK Politics Brief “Cameron’s Pension Boost for Elderly”.
Mr Cameron has hailed a £5.30 boost to state pensions, that came in force this week as proof of the Government’s commitment to the elderly.
Well Mr Cameron it was your government that took from us £50 from our heating allowance, the cost of living has also gone up, electricity bills and gas bills have gone up, water rates have gone up, and I have just had a letter from my housing association that this month my rent is going up by £5 per week, so so much for the increase in my pension.
The vast amount of politians just don’t live in the real world. The pensioners of this country deserve a fair pension to live on. We have saved and served this country well and we deserve to be treated better than this, Mr Cameron.
