There was a pleasant surprise when we launched The PLUS campaign last month, encouraging Pershore people to help keep the Abbey open and welcoming to visitors all year round. The Pershore Landmark Upholders Scheme (The PLUS) enables anyone to sponsor the overheads to keep this major Vale asset open for a day – and a surprising number of married couples have responded, wanting to mark their wedding anniversary.
