I ATTENDED the Battle of Evesham Commemoration and Democracy Day at Abbey Park. It was excellent to see the attendance of six pupils from Badsey First School, representing their school all smartly dressed in their school uniforms giving up a morning of their summer holiday to mark this momentous event in Evesham’s history.
There was also a small contingent of Girl Guides. Well done.
What a pity that the town schools, both junior and senior, were not there to represent themselves.
